What is a haunted object?

Haunted objects are typically objects that have become "Conduits" or attractors of paranormal activity, phenomenon, or hauntings. These objects can be associated with historical places, spirits, entities, or demonic forces. Haunted objects can cause activity in homes, businesses, or anywhere that these items are stored. Many times people can end a haunting at their location by removing these objects or determining the source of the haunting.

What can you do?

If you believe you have a haunted item in your home you have several options. You can keep the item and deal with the activity in your home. This is not always a bad option if the activity is non malevolent or violent in nature. Many people have haunted items in their homes.

If you would like the item out of the home you can donate it to a local museum. Museums will often take items like this and put them on display especially if they hold historical value.

A third option is to donate these items to an auction house or antique store. These locations will often take these items and may even pay you for them.

You should never destroy a potentially haunted item. Destroying the item can cause the haunting to increase or in some cases for spirits to latch onto new objects or people.
